Marcia Hatch is a partner in the Corporate Group at Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian, LLP. Located in Redwood City, California, Gunderson Dettmer is a leading global provider of legal services to corporations, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists in emerging growth information marketplace. Marcia works closely with venture capital investors and corporate founders to broker deals in various technology and clean energy markets. Marcia Hatch also represents venture capital firms in their investment activities.
Ms. Hatch has extensive experience in all areas of corporate, securities, and partnership law and focuses primarily on the formation and financing of emerging growth companies, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, debt transactions, corporate governance, and venture capital investor representation. Marcia has been successful in negotiating deals on behalf of both investors and corporate clientele. Marcia recently acted as corporate counsel in a USD $115 million dollar equity financing for a privately held solar thermal company and represented a wireless memory card company in a similar transaction. She also served as investor counsel for a thin-film solar company investment, a renewable cement company investment, and geothermal lithium mining investment. Ms. Hatch’s work with companies spans the entire corporate lifecycle, including strategic decisions and coaching prior to incorporation, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Marcia Hatch is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and University of Michigan School of Law. Before accepting her current position with Gunderson Dettmer, Hatch was a partner at Heller Ehrman LLP.
